Gas jet

The standard setup is “gas-jet” setup which use the same glass capilalry used in liquid setup. Switching between liquid jet and gas jet is done by changin tip parts of the rod. (see liquid jet rod for detail)

Pinhole setup

There is also setup using metal pinhole. There are several issue, like corrosion of pinhole. it is noe recomended for user beamtime.

SiN window setup

Some of innert gases (like Xe, Ne etc) can use gas cell setup using SiN window. Please note that inner gas like N2 is not innert enough after x-ray excitation and cause problem on SiN window (sudden burst of the window). So this setup is not recomended.
