If motor related troubles is not possible to solve from sofutware, and there is nothig disturb motion of motor. It can sometimgs solved by reset motor control system, icepap. Escpecially, trajectory motion of DLD detector tend to have issues. There are still investigation about it but for now we can just reset system. Please note it is not recomended to do by user, please ask BL scientists or floor coodinator.

Hard reset

if anything else is working and desperate. You might want to reset whole motoro control system. First of all, Do not reset while something is moving. Power switch is back side of the control panel. Note that unit on top is main controunit connected to contron sytem via network.

1. Turn off
   Turn off the unit fron down side.

2. wait for a 10sec or something (if you want to make sure it is completely off)

3. Turn on
   Turn on the unit fron down side (since main control unit is top one).

4. Run sardana-restart in command line or use sardana-restart app to restart softwarer side of control system.
